What could go wrong...with a game of chess

I really  like the game, it's a nice idea. But for some reason after trying to take the black king with my queen, the whole game was weird. Everytime I wanted to take a pice i couldn't use the one i was taking with. 

Chess with a twist. Would like to try it against someone else.
